McBride Delivers Walk-Off Win for Fighting Dachshunds
|
Starting pitcher Chad López had a solid game. He was a big reason the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds throttled the Kansas Rainbeaus, 2-1. The 6th-place Rainbeaus have lost 4 consecutive games.
Ellenburg won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Bruno Dares on the mound for Kansas, pinch hitter Bake McBride hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Fighting Dachshunds fans to their feet.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," López said.
