Rainbeaus Win at Pennsauken, 4-1
|
Pitcher Cenek Stensel was sensational for the Kansas Rainbeaus in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Pennsauken Flyers. Stensel picked up the win, and it was well-earned. With the win over Pennsauken, the Rainbeaus improved to 31-43.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the bottom of the fifth inning, but Stensel was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Pennsauken trailing 3-1, Stensel retired Matt Turner, who struck out.
