Thunderbirds Best Fog in Pitching Duel
The Hamilton Thunderbirds eked out a 2-1 win versus the Sunset District Fog at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Nobody did more than pitcher Claude Simon. He was terrific. At 18-25, the Thunderbirds are currently 9th in the Silver AAA.

Victor Porter, the Hamilton designated hitter, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 2-0, Thunderbirds. For the game, Porter went 2-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs.

Porter called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
