Patriots Knock Off Pandas at Dunkin Donuts Park

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Boston Patriots got the win.
The Boston Patriots topped the Montana Pandas, 4-2, in United States Premier League action at Dunkin Donuts Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher César Pinto. The winning pitcher was Pinto, now 1-2. He tossed 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7.
Carlos Rivera tagged a home run off Alonso Álvarez in the bottom of the third. His 2-run blast put the Patriots on top, 2-1. In all, Rivera had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"César made his pitches," said Boston manager Tyler Carter.
Boston goes to 30-23, Montana to 27-26.
