Belcher Leads Redlegs to Win
Good production from left fielder Theo Belcher helped the Sacramento Redlegs topple the Kansas Rainbeaus, 10-3. Belcher was 2-2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Redlegs. Roberto Sánchez got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 3. The second-place Redlegs improved to 20-12.

With Sacramento leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Belcher hit a slider from Quincy Rose for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Redlegs ahead, 3-0.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Belcher told the Sacramento Chronicle.
