Extra-Inning Win by Voodoo Over White Walkers
|
The New Orleans Voodoo wiggled past the Buffalo White Walkers, 3-2, at Beyond the Wall. The win was highlighted by the performance of New Orleans pitcher Anthony Coleman. Elton Ray picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Juan Luis Matos was tagged with the loss. The first-place Voodoo have won 7 straight games.
Runs were scarce in this one. So, Ta-hye Keng's at-bat in the top of the tenth was vitally important. With two out, the New Orleans left fielder reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 3-2 lead.
"Anthony is tough when he's hitting his spots," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
