Kingfishers Lose Again, 3-0, to Voodoo
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the New Orleans Voodoo and the Pittsburgh Kingfishers. New Orleans won it, 3-0. New Orleans starter Ronnie Gómez was in command. Gómez went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 0, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-1. Tim Strong sewed up the save, his 5th.
The Voodoo picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
