Ambrose Jackson was a major contributor to the 4-3 Norfolk win over Hialeah. The Pajaritos right fielder went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Norfolk pitcher Dan Watson got the win. He's now 1-0. Robert Joubert was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Hialeah falls to 4-6.
Jackson contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Norfolk in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Jackson took a fastball from Robert Joubert and stroked the double to left-center. His 2nd double of the season allowed the Pajaritos to leap in front, 4-3.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Norfolk skipper Phil Baker. "I can't complain."
