Lokela Kapeliela never let Sacramento get something going. The Pennsauken left-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Flyers to a 3-0 win. The Flyers raised their record to 5-2.

The game was on the line with two out in the bottom of the eighth inning, but Claudio Cortés didn't flinch. With a runner on 2nd and Sacramento trailing 1-0, Cortés retired Graeme Wilshaw to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Cortés, with a wink.
