The Athletic Club KC Reserves topped the Calgary Lynx by a score of 7-5. Leading the way was designated hitter Daniel MacBrayne. MacBrayne was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Reserves. Sidd Finch recorded his 2nd save for Athletic Club KC. Athletic Club KC is now 49-50.
Athletic Club KC used the timely hitting of Sergio Valentín to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Reserves on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
