In a well-pitched game between the Athletic Club KC Reserves and the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, pitcher José Salinas was fantastic. The Athletic Club KC left-hander helped his team secure the win, 2-0. Athletic Club KC reliever Zhong-shu Ang got the win, raising his record to 1-3. Alan Jackson was tagged with the loss. The winning continues for Athletic Club KC, with the latest making it 7 straight.
Daniel MacBrayne, the Athletic Club KC designated hitter, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 2-0, Reserves. For the game, MacBrayne went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.
Afterward, Reserves manager Félix Jiménez was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
