Milton took on Tortolita in front of a lively crowd.
The Milton Dogfish Head beat the Tortolita Drummers, 6-3, at Milton Corner Tavern. The Dogfish Head got a fine performance from left fielder Jung-jun Sang, who was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Getting the save was Anthony Carney, his 3rd.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the sixth when Sang, who leads the PAAA in stolen bases with 22, hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Dogfish Head into the lead, 2-1.
Sang called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
Milton is now 32-48, Tortolita 37-43.
