Andy Gould was a vital contributor to the 3-1 Sioux Falls victory over Syracuse. The Red Pandas right fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The triumph puts Sioux Falls at 33-31 for the season.

Gould had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Steve Ward, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Red Pandas a 3-1 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Gould.

Gould told the Sioux Falls Daily News: "I was born for the big stage."
