Nobles Bump Off Humpbacks, 3-1
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 23-year old center fielder William Stanley, the Bakersfield Nobles stopped the Alaskan Humpbacks, 3-1. Bakersfield, now 32-25, holds down 4th place in the Premier AAA.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Stanley hit a solo home run to put his team ahead.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Stanley.
