Brass Get 5-2 Win Versus Sioux Falls
|
Baton Rouge got a strong outing from Fraser Chambers as the Brass defeated the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 5-2, at The Bamboo Forest. Melis Ooyendijk, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 12th save. Baton Rouge is in 5th place in the Premier AAA with a record of 28-27.
Lung Chaim hit a run-scoring triple off Nicky Bogdan in the top of the third, which put the Brass in front, 1-0. Chaim had 3 walks, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 2.
"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Chambers told the Baton Rouge Daily News. "But we take nothing for granted."
