Late Magic Gets Tortolita 4-3 Win
The Tortolita Drummers scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Baton Rouge Brass at Brass Field. Tortolita pitcher Sixto Bustamante held his own in the contest. Tortolita reliever Apaghana Shachi got the win, raising his record to 4-1. Matt Jenkins was tagged with the loss. The Drummers go to 23-30, putting them 8th in the Premier AAA.

Tortolita used a clutch hit from Shawn Maldonado to snatch the win. The designated hitter belted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Drummers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

After the game, Tortolita manager Marcos Costa applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
