The Sioux Falls Red Pandas beat the Calgary Lynx, 4-3. Sioux Falls pitcher and Woodbridge, Connecticut, native Michael MacGregor led the way. MacGregor got the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 8 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. MacGregor allowed 3 runs. Robert Shirt nailed down his 16th save.
Jae-woo Yi had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth for Sioux Falls. With runners on 1st and 3rd and the Red Pandas leading 3-2, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"We'll put that win in the can," said MacGregor, "and go after the next one."
Sioux Falls bumps their record to 23-26 with the win.
