Piranhas Win Streak Reaches 8
|
The Panama City Piranhas had to overcome a big game from Pittsburgh first baseman Jesús Bonilla to leave The Tank with a victory. And they did, winning 6-3. Bonilla was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and a walk. Panama City has now won 8 straight.
In the bottom of the sixth, Panama City catcher Rubén Jusino had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Jusino stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-2, Panama City. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Jusino told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
