Red Pandas Defeat Drummers, 4-2
|
Koryusai Ohayashi had a good game, but he could not keep the Tortolita Drummers from falling, 4-2, to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Drummers Ballpark. The Tortolita left fielder was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 in the loss. Bill Williams got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. The Red Pandas improve their record to 22-23 with the win over Tortolita.
Helping the Sioux Falls cause was Eldon Broadus. In the top of the seventh, the 33-year old catcher had a run-scoring walk to make the score 4-2, Red Pandas.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Broadus.
