Behind an impressive start by David Cuevas, Monongahela beat Sioux Falls, 2-0. Richard McCord got credit for the save for Monongahela. It was his 1st of the year. Monongahela now has a record of 16-15 with the win.

Monongahela used the bat of Bartolo Foreman to capture the win. The left fielder jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Monsters ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"It's a mindset," said Cuevas. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
