Drummers Take Nail-Biter Over Monsters
The Tortolita Drummers outlasted the Monongahela Monsters in an extra-inning thriller.

Boris Milatovic was outstanding against Monongahela. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the PAAA in innings pitched with 37.2, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Drummers 4-3 win. The third-place Drummers now have a win-loss record of 14-10.

The Drummers procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Dan Harris. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Marcos Costa, the Tortolita skipper. "This one tested us."
