Ft. Myers Gets 5-4 Win
The Salt Lake City Buzz got a superb performance from third baseman Anthony Potter. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Ft. Myers. The Marlins won the game, 5-4. Potter was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Ft. Myers pitcher Bob Porter got the win. He's now 3-2. Iwan Vroom was tagged with the loss. Getting the save was William Kelly, his 10th.

Ft. Myers used the timely hitting of Benjamin Burrell to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Marlins on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Burrell.

The 9th-place Marlins improved to 31-45.
