5-1 Loss to Golden Cranes Extends Vermont Losing Streak
|
Santa Barbara starter Troy Dalton had a strong outing against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Crane Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. Josh Rainey collected his 2nd save. The slumping Lake Monsters have lost 6 straight.
Helping the Santa Barbara cause was Heng-zong Fen. In the bottom of the second, the 28-year old third baseman had a run-scoring ground out to make the score 2-0, Golden Cranes.
"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Vermont manager António García.
