White Walkers Win at New Orleans, 2-1
|
Volmer Aalbers pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The New Orleans Voodoo, despite Aalbers's fine outing, dropped a 2-1 decision to the Buffalo White Walkers at The Voodoo Lounge. Buffalo raised its record to 17-17 with the win.
Sasha Mamchenko, the 2053 PL home run champion , had a direct impact on the outcome. Mamchenko contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Buffalo up, 2-1.
"Both teams played hard," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau.
