|
The Buffalo White Walkers defeated the Greenville 84s, 11-9, at 84s Field today. Leading the charge for Buffalo was first baseman Christiaan Bunschoten. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Buffalo starter David O'Farrell was credited with the win after throwing 81 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 1-2. Juan Luis Matos earned the save for Buffalo, his 4th of the year.
With Buffalo leading 7-2 in the top of the fourth, Bunschoten came up to bat against Greenville pitcher Mainio Kyyro. Bunschoten hit a forkball to right for a 3-run home run. His 9th home run of the season put the White Walkers on top, 10-2.
