Disaster Topple Marlins, 9-5, as Samuels Shines
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

George Samuels impressed in the 9-5 Port Royal win over Ft. Myers. Samuels went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. At 14-11, the Disaster find themselves in 4th place in the Menard's AAA.

Samuels contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Port Royal in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 5-3, Samuels took a fastball from Rob Anderson and stroked the home run to left-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Disaster to leap in front, 6-5.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Samuels. "And not try to do too much."
