Brown Leads Ft. Myers to 3-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Ft. Myers Marlins and the Salt Lake City Buzz, pitcher Silas Brown was the difference between victory and defeat. The Ft. Myers right-hander earned accolades in the 3-0 Marlins win. Victor Jones got the save, the 2nd for him this season. Ft. Myers is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 3rd win in 13 games.
Brown scattered 1 hit over 7.1 innings for the Marlins. With the win, Brown goes to 1-0 on the year with 3 strikeouts.
"Big team win," Brown said later.
