Fans who congregated at Grazing Hills were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Colorado Billy Goats topped the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 4-3, in 13 innings. Colorado shortstop Gabe Joicey, in particular, was impressive. He was 4-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Bryce Poindexter, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits.

George Mayes clinched the win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 13th. In the game, the Colorado catcher went 1-6.

"The house was rockin'," said Mayes.

Colorado is now 9-9.
