Behind a fine performance from Clarence Hogan, the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC knocked off the D.C. Divided, 4-2. Hogan went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Northern Lions BC. The win was credited to José Cruz in relief. His record improves to 1-1. O-jun Kun took the loss. The save was credited to Jerry Sargent, his 1st.
Thunder Bay took a 4-2 lead on Hogan's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off O-jun Kun in the top of the sixth, propelled Thunder Bay to the win.
"Nice to get this one," said Hogan. "Wins have been hard to come by."
The win moves Thunder Bay to a record of 1-4.
