#1 Pitcher Trophy Won by Shredders Walker Wednesday, September 17th , 2053 Wes T. Walker was the most outstanding pitcher in the USSL Mexican Summer League this year and today was acclaimed the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for his efforts. Walker had a marvelous season, going 8-3 with an impressive 1.68 ERA in 16 starts. He struck out 107 in 96.2 innings and limited opposing batters to a .200 batting average. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Francisco Canó of the MSL Toledo Stingers finished second in voting, while Eric Jenkins of the MSL Seattle Rocketeers finished third.
