Jiménez Picks up SMSL Monthly Pitching Honor Friday, August 1st , 2053 In July MSL Vancouver starter Pablo Jiménez confused hitters all month long. Last month's USSL Mexican Summer League Pitcher of the Month took home the trophy as he collected a 3-0 record in 3 starts. The 17-year-old Jiménez added 18 strikeouts in 19.1 innings and 5 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.86 ERA. Other clubs hit .217 against him. This season Jiménez has compiled a 5-2 record with a 2.67 ERA. |
