Yi Is King of Swing: Goes Deep 3 Times Sunday, July 6th , 2053 Whatever Tong-sik Yi ate for breakfast before his game against the MSL Baltimore Bullets today, it gave him some impressive power. The MSL Colorado second baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at MSL Baltimore Ballpark. His home run barrage led the Billy Goats to take the 9-1 victory over the Bullets. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 3 times, drove in 7 and put on a display that history will remember. Tong-sik Yi hit a solo-shot off Gustavo Rivera in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Gustavo Rivera in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Bong-ok Nae in the 9th. So far this season, Yi has recorded a .247 batting average with 24 hits, 6 home runs, 12 RBIs, 8 runs scored and a .267 OBP. |
