League Suspends Torres and Carr for Brawl Friday, July 4th , 2053 After an intense confrontation, both the Shredders António Torres and the Oaks Donald Carr were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent MSL Hollywood-MSL Oakland game. António Torres will miss 5 games, while Donald Carr was suspended for 10 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," António Torres commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Torres is batting .283 with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. In 9 starts this year Carr has recorded a 3-4 record and a 4.01 ERA. |
