PMSL's Best Starter is Provoost Friday, August 1st , 2053 Gerrit Provoost had an outstanding July -- so good that the USPL Mexican Summer League presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Kingfishers would be without Provoost," one fan is quoted as saying. In July Provoost dominated the competition, running up a 3-0 record, a 1.75 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 25.2 innings. His record this season is 6-2 in 12 starts and Provoost has a 3.00 ERA. |
