Reyes Raps 3 Homers Against U-18 Tuesday, June 3rd , 2053 MSL Pittsburgh center fielder Javier Reyes blasted three homers today at MSL ACKC Ballpark in the 8-4 Kingfishers victory over the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18. For the game, Javier Reyes scored 3 times and knocked in 7 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Reyes when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Reyes told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Javier Reyes flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Hughie Sworder in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Hughie Sworder in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Ernesto Bernal in the 9th. Thus far this year Reyes is batting .310 with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
