Season Ends for Carlos Rangel of Napanee
Wednesday, June 4th , 2053
The doctors have spoken and Carlos Rangel of the Napanee Express didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rangel sustained his season-ending injury during the Moose Jaw Canucks game yesterday at Paints Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Napanee medical staff reported Rangel had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months.
