Germantown Loses Polanco for Year Thursday, May 22nd , 2053 Juan Polanco will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Germantown reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Polanco was injured while throwing a pitch in the Uruguayans-Gators clash at Dodge Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn back muscle and would be out a minimum of 4 months. This year Polanco has made 7 relief appearances with no saves. In 7.2 innings, he has permitted 16 hits, fanned 4 hitters and recorded no wins and 2 losses with a 11.74 ERA. |
