Ayala Gets 3-Game Suspension Saturday, August 30th , 2053 After receiving his suspension notification from the league office, César Ayala of the Germantown Uruguayans told reporters, "Do the crime, do the time. I lost it yesterday and will accept the punishment." The Uruguayans catcher lost his temper when he was called out on strikes in the game yesterday with Memphis. The consequence was a 3-game suspension. So far this season Ayala has gotten 18 hits in 124 at-bats for a .145 batting average with no home runs. His stats include 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
