Moore and Li Suspended, Out 5 Games Saturday, August 16th , 2053 During a recent Ogallala-Amarillo game at Nebraska Aquarium, Quinn Moore of the Octopi and Jen-djieh Li of the Warheads got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 5-game suspensions because of their actions. This year Moore has socked 76 hits in 268 at-bats for a .284 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .378 pace and his totals also include 36 RBIs and 35 runs scored. This season Li has compiled a 0-6 record with a 7.88 ERA. |
