PA- Names Most Valuable Player Award Winner Tuesday, September 23rd , 2053 Chong-hun Chon of the Fort Knox Centennial had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2053.
The 20-year-old right fielder put up a .279 average and a .339 on-base percentage, piling up 101 hits, 14 doubles, 3 triples, 25 home runs, 64 RBIs and 58 runs scored.
He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10. Paul Young of the Maine Sea Dogs finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Dave Reid of the Quebec City Baby Blues finished third with 1 first place vote.
