Gómez Wins PA- Player of the Week Monday, August 4th , 2053 It was announced today that Quebec City first baseman Alfonso Gómez has been acclaimed by the USPL Low A as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week. Gómez posted a .409 batting average as he collected 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. This season Gómez is batting .281 with 11 RBIs, 10 runs scored and 6 home runs. |
