Great July Gets Torres PA- Best Hitter Award Friday, August 1st , 2053 Carlos Torres put together a good July to earn the USPL Low A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Quebec City officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Baby Blues right fielder posted a .357 batting average with 10 home runs, 23 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This year Torres is batting .281 with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
