Hounds Guzmán Suspended
Thursday, May 29th , 2053
Hicksville right fielder José Guzmán was ejected in the game between the Hounds and Zoomies for letting loose a profanity-laced tirade against the home plate umpire after some calls didn't go the way he wanted. Guzmán was just as incensed after the game.
"These guys are a joke. How can people expect to take this game seriously when you have games like this?" Guzmán said in the locker room after the game.
Now Guzmán must face the consequences of this actions. League officials released this brief statement to the media: "We are regretful that Guzmán has taken this to the level that it has reached. The league will not tolerate this type of conduct. Due to his actions during and after the game, the league is suspending him for 3 games."
This season Guzmán has hit at a .077 clip with 0 RBIs, 0 home runs and 1 runs scored.
