Hounds Villa Gone for Year Tuesday, May 27th , 2053 The season is finished for José Villa of the Hicksville Hounds. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Hounds catcher suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Maine Sea Dogs. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. This year Villa is hitting .179 with 10 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and has scored 7 runs. |
