Playoff Bound: Krewe Win Wild Card Friday, September 19th , 2053 The Crescent City Krewe are celebrating a trip to the postseason and say they plan to make the most of the opportunity. The team officially clinched a wild card berth today and reliever Edward O'Neil said they are "looking forward to making some noise" in the playoffs. "There's nothing better than postseason baseball," he said. "We hope to go on a deep run and give our fans in Crescent City something to be excited about." For now, excitement is running high as the team's 62-40 record has clinched the playoff position and the team has a chance to win its 6th USPL Double A championship. |
