Lewis Stands Out, Choice for Best Pitcher Friday, August 1st , 2053 The elite pitcher this past month in the USPL Double A was Alastair Lewis of the Gulf Coast Turbeaus. He stood head and shoulders above the rest, finishing July with an extraordinary 3-1 record and a 1.86 ERA. The Turbeaus star hurler made 5 starts and surrendered 13 hits in 29 innings. He struck out 28 and walked 7. This year Lewis has made 15 starts, thrown 76.2 innings, fanned 70 batters and walked 20. His won-lost record is 6-3 with a 3.99 ERA. |
