Murray Bangs 3 HR Against Providence

Tim Murray was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-4 Marquette Miners triumph at Marquette Stadium today.
The 26-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Miners past the Providence Pilgrims.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Murray told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The second baseman went 3-for-5, rung up 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.
Tim Murray hit a solo-shot off Alje Anraad in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Alje Anraad in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tony Díaz in the 8th.
Murray is batting .138 this season in 12 games with 3 home runs, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 4 hits in 29 at-bats.
