Ambrose Jackson Captures Prestigious Trophy

Ambrose Jackson took USSL Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24.
For his spectacular campaign, the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas star has been named the 2053 USSL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .283 batting average to go with a .389 on-base percentage. The native of Eagle, Idaho also added 17 doubles, 3 triples, 17 home runs, 57 RBIs and 54 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. William Martz of the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs finished second in voting, while Tony Díaz of the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas finished third.
