Thunder Out of Playoff Race Friday, September 19th , 2053 The St. Petersburg Thunder put together a respectable playoff push, but ultimately their bid to reach the postseason fell short. Today, the club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Thunder have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 22 years as a USSL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2028. St. Petersburg last won the SL AA Championship in 2028. |
