SAA Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Abdul-Hakim Monday, September 1st , 2053 For a rookie just breaking in, Fakhiri Abdul-Hakim certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the SAA Batter of the Month award for August. The 25-year-old first baseman for the Yakima Hops hit .345 with 9 home runs, 14 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
